The Dahabiya Sultana Luxury Nile Cruise gives you a Dahabiya sailing experience on the river Nile from Esna to Aswan that allows you to explore the ancient sites of Egypt in a traditional way. The great explorers and those completing the Grand Tour would have sailed the Nile on these types of boat. Our company owned and family run Dahabiya takes you on a Luxury small Nile cruise boat which combines historical and mystical sightseeing with the peace and tranquility of a Nile cruise as you dreamt it should be.

** NB: The Nile Boat departure is dependent on booking at least 3 cabins or 6 participants to guarantee sailing.

There is No Engine on Dahabiya Princess Sultana.

Amazing Tour with Egypt Key Tours

I had an amazing private tour of the pyramids of Giza and old Cairo lead by Jimmy from Egypt Key Tours. My Group had a very limited time (18hr Cairo layover) and the trip jimmy put together was amazing. Unfortunately our arrival was after closing of the pyramids but jimmy arranged a special camel ride to the backside of the pyramids which was crazy amazing.

After that we had a pre-arranged dinner and afterwards a private tour of the Old Cairo after dark. The market and architecture of Old Cairo is unforgettably and Jimmy made the whole experience even more unforgettable by his meticulous planning and knowledge.

He was very easy to listen to (a walking history book) and made us feel absolutely safe. When I return to Egypt there will be two certainties-that I have more than 18 hrs, and that I book with Egypt Key Tours!

Day 1 Arrival / Luxor Sightseeing Tour:

Upon your arrival to Luxor airport / Luxor train station, our Egypt Key Tours Egyptologist tour guide will be waiting you outside the arrival hall of the airport or the railway station to escort you by the air conditioned vehicle for a tour in Luxor to visit the Valley of the kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Memenon Colossi and Karnak Temples.

Later you will be transferred from Luxor to Esna for embarking your Nile Boat where you will be welcomed by the crew on board.

Overnight in Esna on board your Nile boat.

Day 2 Sail to Edfu:

Whilst sleeping, we gently sail en-route to Edfu; enjoy breakfast at your leisure, visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt’s monuments. Two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance.

We will then set sail for our private island “El Fouza” where we will stay overnight.

Day 3 Gebel el Silsila:

We set off for the relaxing journey to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, another of our less frequented destinations. You will be amazed as we tie up alongside the Speos of Hormheb.

Stay overnight on board the floating boat.

Day 4 Kom Ombo:

Breakfast at your leisure as we sail on to Kom Ombo. Listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow water besides the banks of the Nile, the Donkeys as they go about their day to day business and the various bird life of the river.

Here we visit to the Greco Roman Temple at Kom Ombo. The temple building is totally symmetrical with two entrance’s two halls and two sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the Crocodile God Sobek.

Lunch will be served as we head for a small island where we will moor for the evening and enjoy dinner on board.

Day 5 Aswan Sightseeing:

Sailing to Aswan. visit some of the highlights such as the Temple of Philae and the Souk and Unfinished Obelisk You will have lots of time to prepare for our EGYPTIAN EVENING OF FUN, with Egyptian cuisine, Arabic Music. Dress in your bespoke Gallabeyah.
