Amazing Tour with Egypt Key Tours

I had an amazing private tour of the pyramids of Giza and old Cairo lead by Jimmy from Egypt Key Tours. My Group had a very limited time (18hr Cairo layover) and the trip jimmy put together was amazing. Unfortunately our arrival was after closing of the pyramids but jimmy arranged a special camel ride to the backside of the pyramids which was crazy amazing.

After that we had a pre-arranged dinner and afterwards a private tour of the Old Cairo after dark. The market and architecture of Old Cairo is unforgettably and Jimmy made the whole experience even more unforgettable by his meticulous planning and knowledge.

He was very easy to listen to (a walking history book) and made us feel absolutely safe. When I return to Egypt there will be two certainties-that I have more than 18 hrs, and that I book with Egypt Key Tours!

You will be picked from your hotel in Aswan and Egypt Key Tour guide will escorted you to visit the most remarkable temples of Abu Simbel with their unique style. Consider the largest rock cut temple in the world and the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of ancient Egypt. It was built by Ramses II, the most powerful and celebrated ruler of ancient Egypt. The pharaoh, also known as Ramses the Great, was the third of the 19th dynasty of Egypt and ruled at 12th century BC for 67 years.
The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood.
The gigantic rock temple of Ramses the Great was cut out of the rock during the construction of the Aswan High Dam and relocated to a safe place later on.
The temple was positioned in such a way that the miracle of the sun seen in the past can be experienced today twice a year.
The rays of the sun fall into the sanctuary and illuminate the statues of the gods and King Ramses the Great.
The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Hor-Akhty, Amun-Re and Ramses himself.
The great Abu Simbel called the sun temple of Ramses II, the temple of Queen Nefertari is also called temple of Hathor, who was the wife of the sun god. Thus, in a symbolic way, the two temples, that of Ramses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramses and Nefertari, Hathor and the sun temple together as one.
